Superintendent Linda Thompson would like to thank everyone who had the opportunity to participate in community forums the week of January 9 to discuss the district’s future facilities needs. Flint Community Schools is facing the prospect of closing additional schools to reduce the overcapacity of classroom space and balance the budget. The feedback received at the community forums will be helpful as work continues on this important issue.
